I'm Adrian
A passionate DIY speaker builder, DJ, and design lover.
I have been in love with music and audio equipment since a young age which ultimately determined me to enroll in electronics and automatization high school back in 1996.
Here I have learned the basics of electronics, how the speaker drivers work, and even repaired my first damaged driver with the help of my foreman. A few years later I created three types of DIY speakers managing to drive my parents crazy, particularly with the last version of 200 Watts :
In 2001, I finished a DJ course and just a few months later got hired as DJ and sound technician at a local disco, working there for five years and continued after in different clubs, pubs, and other events. Working with a wide variety of professional equipment further enhanced my knowledge of sound reproduction.
Over the years I've noticed that just a few companies are taking advantage of the technological advancement of CAD software and manufacturing machinery (CNCs) to break the traditional development and design of speakers.
Spotting this gap in the market, determined me to design the Aphrodite speaker in 2016. The goal was to sell the design to a speaker company for a humble royalty fee and work with their engineers to develop this unique product.
However, my efforts on reaching a speaker manufacturer as a single person were unsuccessful. Even the collaboration with a professional design company suffered for the same reason ending up with disappointing results and a big hole in my budget.
As my voice was not heard or taken seriously as a lone individual, I founded this company in 2019 to continue the project under its shell.
